How to Buy a Token on dashbot?

  1. Selecting the Token

    • Go to the Trade section and either search for the token you want to buy or select the token from your holdings in the Trade section.

  2. Click Buy

    • Once you find the token, select it to head to the Token Detail Page, where you can review the token and ensure it is the correct one you want to buy.

  3. Choose Buy Option

    • Choose "Quicky buy" for faster transaction with preset quick buy amount

    • Choose market for custom buy amounts

  4. Choose Payment Method

    • Select your payment method ( pay with SOL or USDC)

  5. Select Token Amount

    • Select the amount of tokens you want to buy. You can also use the quick buy amount you already set. The quick buy setting is at the top right of the token buy page

  6. Review Price Quote

    • Check the price quote for the token, including the price impact, fees, and other details before proceeding.

  7. Place the Order

    • After reviewing the details, click on Place Order to initiate the transaction.

  8. Transaction Processing

    • The system will process your transaction and route it through Jupiter for an efficient swap.

  9. Successful Transaction

    • Once the transaction is complete, you'll receive a success notification and your token will be added to your wallet.

How to Sell a Token on dashbot?

  1. Selecting the Token

    • Go to the Trade section and either search for the token you want to buy or select the token from your holdings in the Trade section.

  2. Click Sell

    • Once you find the token, select it to open the Token Detail Page, where you can review and ensure it's the correct token you wish to sell.

  3. Choose Sell Option

    • Choose "Quicky sell" for faster transaction with preset quick buy amount

    • Choose market for custom sell amounts

  4. Choose Payment Method

    • Select the payment method ( sell to SOL or USDC).

  5. Select Token Amount

    • Choose the amount of the token you want to sell. You can also use the quick sell percentage you already set. The quick sell setting is at the top right of the token sell page.

  6. Review Price Quote

    • Check the price quote for the token, including the price impact, fees, and other details before proceeding.

  7. Place the Order

    • After confirming all the details, click Place Order to submit your sell order.

  8. Transaction Processing

    • The transaction will be processed through Jupiter to ensure a smooth swap.

  9. Successful Transaction

    • Once processed, you’ll receive a success notification, and your funds will be transferred to your wallet

Troubleshooting Trades

  • Check SOL Balance for Gas Fees: Ensure you have enough SOL in your wallet to cover transaction fees.

  • Check Slippage Settings: If the trade fails, adjust the slippage tolerance in your settings.

  • Check Transaction Status on Solscan: Use Solscan to track the status of your transaction.

  • Refresh Trade Section: Refresh the page to update your balance

  • Error Swapping: Unable to sell tokens. Verify the contract address (CA) of the token you are trying to trade; it may be a scam or lack liquidity
